Biogas plant 120 kw under 14-year remaining contract to the grid (price per kw: 0.209 euro-24hrs*120kw*0.209€/kwh*80%efficiency≈480€/day). The plant is situated in an owned 5300m2 field just next to the public power corporation plant in Agios Dimitrios, Kozani, Greece. The plant is built at just about half of the field for future expansion in power with a second generator (with a small cost-at the same kW price up to 3 MW) given the advantage of having two digesters tanks already or other activity (e.g. greenhouse). Main building 160 m2, cummins engine/ camda generator 120 kw (with engine service parts available when actually needed in stock by a service engine company in Greece), two digesters of 675 m3, liquid/solids seperator, two temporary storage tanks 280 m3 and 150 m3, gas filtration, loader, feeding tank 15 m3 and 80 m3, temporary feeding tank 13 m3, weighbridge and several machinery and parts (steel tank, pelletizer, air compressor, drum filter, engine parts, pumps, e
Activities are to produce electric energy (120kW/h) and sell it to the grid with a price of 0.209 euros/kWh (up to 3 MW). Secondary activity is liquid and solid fertilisers sold to nearby farmers. In addition the plant is eligible and already participated in EU funded research programme (significant funds already have been paid) with an important team of universities, private companies and local consultants for innovations and improvements in existing facilities like ours.
The plant currently is out of operation but it used to employ 3 people when operating at full power for 24 hrs. Land is included in the offer.
The plant is built at just about half of the field for future expansion in power with a second generator (with a small cost) given the advantage of having two digesters tanks already (to double the installed power) or other activity (e.g. greenhouse). The electricity price for biogas plants up to 3 MW is still high at 0.209 euro/kWh (for instance a photovoltaic park of <500 kW has a price of less than 0.07 euro/kWh) and it is a solid price as biogas plants in Greece are promoted for faster grid connection and their total power has to be increased a lot in Greece's new green environmental policy.

Assistance and guidance is to be offered for the first few months to the new owner regarding operation of the plant and everything that is needed in general. The plant is situated just next to the lignite mines of the Public Power Corporation which are about to close forever up to 2023 to promote green energy in the country overall. In brief, since most of Greece's power is generated by coal in this area (region of western macedonia) the forthcoming closure of the plants, pushes the government to prioritize development issues for the region to give jobs (renewables, land restoration-is discussed these days but it has already been done in the past for other areas, crops cultivation, enhanced development-investment law for the region for new or upgrades of businesses, industrial areas for businesses etc).
